Karen P. Stone
VETERINARIAN
Dr. Stone graduated from the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1990. After living in Chicago for a year, she moved to northeast Tennessee and soon opened AAH on April 1st, 1995. And due to popular demand, she completed a major remodel including the expansion of the bunkhouse in 2004. She is from England. Her animal family includes 4 dogs and 3 cats.
Dr. Sam
Dr. Sam joined our team in June 2023. She is originally from East Tennessee, where she attended East Tennessee State University to obtain her Bachelor of Science degree in 2010.
She earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from The University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 2014, and worked in middle Tennessee at a mixed animal practice for 4 years. In 2018, Dr. Sam moved back home to work on dogs, cats, and bunny rabbits. Her special interests include Veterinary Dentistry, Nutrition, Soft Tissue Surgery, Internal Medicine, Dermatology, and Preventative Care for your fur babies. Dr. Sam has a 3-legged cat named Olive, and a sweet mixed-breed dog named Costa. She enjoys time on the water and playing cornhole.
